Join us for live tunes on our brew deck this weekend! Plus, new mead and a fresh dose of tie-dye!
For the first time ever, we’ll be hosting live music at Black Spruce this Saturday, April 13 from 6PM to 9PM! We’ll be showcasing three local solo acts: TED, Heart Machine and Jonny J. All three artists will be performing in our actual brewery where we make beer on our brew deck! What a stage, right?
There is no cover charge for this show, and folks under 21 are welcome to attend with a parent. Sweet Prik Thai Asian Fusion will be on-hand, if you’re in need of a snack, and, as always, we’ll have plenty of great craft beer and cider on tap, along with a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. We hope that you’ll join us for the first in a series of live events this summer, and stay tuned for details about more events! Cheers to terrific local tunes and delicious Fairbanks brews!
Tie-Dye’s Back!
Just in time for spring (allegedly), we’ve got a fresh restock of tie-dye tees! So as to be prepared for any occasion, we have both short-sleeve and long-sleeve tie-dye tees available in two different styles and four different colors. All of these new shirts, plus additional dope BSBC merchandise, are available both in our taproom and through our online store! Don’t forget: we ship merchandise anywhere in the US!
Blue Mead?!
Mark your calendars, folks: our next mead is gonna be wild! We’ve all grown to know and love our house orange blossom honey, so… are you ready to get some Alaska blueberries into the mix? That’s right: our next batch of orange blossom honey mead will be infused with wild Alaska blueberries! This very limited batch of infused mead will be available beginning on Monday, April 22 and will be available in our taproom only!

BSBC alumnus Jill Anderson will be at our taproom for a pop-up on TOMORROW from 4PM to 7PM! Jill will be showing off her gorgeously detailed, handcrafted beaded earrings and will have her collection on sale for the evening! Check out Jill’s work (pictured) on Instagram at @blueberry.beadworks.
Black Spruce is proud to support Golden Heart Strong and to vote “yes” on Proposition A during the Fairbanks North Star Borough’s special election on May 7. The Golden Heart Strong team will be at our taproom this Friday, April 12 from 4PM to 7PM with information about Proposition A, as well as car magnets, buttons and other swag to show your support!

Sweet Prik Thai Asian Fusion will be there with fresh eats, and we’ll have beer, cider and non-alcoholic bevvies available for your enjoyment.
We’ll be hosting Coloring Night on Wednesday, April 17! It’s exactly what it sounds like. Bring the kiddos, some friends or just yourself, and enjoy some relaxing coloring while you sip a fresh beer! Crayons and coloring pages will be provided. We’ll even put your artwork up on the fridge (our big ol’ walk-in cooler) when you’re done to show off your work!
You can catch us at Taste of Alaska at the Pub at UAF on Saturday, April 27 from 6PM to 10PM. This bangin’ annual beer festival celebrates craft beer and cider from around Alaska and is a great opportunity to revisit your favorite brews and sample the latest releases! Tickets are available at the Pub now or at the door day-of.
Anchorage and Mat-Su accounts, we’re comin’ for ya! Our next round of Anchorage and Mat-Su deliveries will be on May 6 & 7. Prepare yourself for a whole mess of new releases, including a new collab and a fresh lager!
