All of Our Summer Happenings
Summer’s kicking off at BSBC with a big patio art project today, opening at noon and live music this Friday and a whole mess of pop-ups!
Perhaps you’ve heard, but… IT’S SUMMERTIME!!! We’re stoked to be out on the patio once again, soaking in the sunshine, sharing space with flowers and sipping suds under the midnight sun. That said, our summer schedule is packed!
Summer hours begin this week! Through mid-August, our taproom hours will be as follows:
- Open 3PM to 8PM Monday through Wednesday
- Open 3PM to 9PM on Thursday
- Open 12PM to 9PM on Friday & Saturday
- Closed Sunday, Memorial Day (May 26) and Independence Day (July 4)
Sidewalk Chalk for Days TODAY!
Join us TODAY for a special edition of coloring night, where we’ll be taking things outside. Tonight’s coloring chalk will need a whole mess of sidewalk chalk, because we’re aiming to make One Giant Patio Mosaic. We’ll have a template ready for you (but freestyle, if you wish, please), as well as all the chalk you could ever desire. We’ve got prickly pear soda on tap (it’s so good!) and Moose’s Tooth Root Beer for the kiddos, plus a dozen terrific beers and ciders for the grown-ups. Meg’s Eats & Treats will be onsite with fresh bites, too.
Live Music Returns This Friday
Summertime’s here, and we’re ready to jam on the patio! Join us for our first concert of the year this Friday, May 23 featuring SunDog, Casey Smith Project and Shady Pines Retirement Home! As if that weren’t enough, the Honeybucket Stringband will be here to show everyone a good time on Saturday, June 14, and Heart Machine and friends will be with us on Saturday, July 26! All shows will be free. Kids with a parent are welcome, and we’ll have a 100% ID check going at the door. Cheers to great tunes and brews!
Patio Pop-Ups Begin June 5
We are so, so lucky to get to have so many talented artists and artisans in Fairbanks! This summer, we’ll be showing them off to you every Thursday, beginning in June! Be sure to mark your calendar for our Summer Solstice Pop-Up Extravaganza on Thursday, June 19, which will feature eight (8!) incredible local vendors, and you can see our full schedule of pop-ups and summer First Fridays below!

Calamansi Cider Slushies Coming
Back by popular demand, we’ve got fruit cider slushies entering the chat! This weekend’s featured slushie will be a real banger and will feature our calamansi-infused semi-sweet cider. Not familiar with calamansi? Get ready for some zingy, citrusy goodness on top of our refreshing off-dry cider. You’re gonna love it. We’re slinging slushies Thursdays through Saturdays for the summer, and stay tuned for updates on each week’s flavor!
Upcoming Events
Our good pals, the Honeybucket Stringband, will return to our patio on Saturday, June 14! As per usual, there will be no cover for this show, and a 100% ID check will be in effect (punch cards issued to track beverages). Kids with a parent are welcome, and food truck is TBA!
Our next outdoor Coloring Night is very Alaska-inspired. On Wednesday, June 18, your mission: draw a Great Big One of the Great One. Think you’ve got it in you to make a big ol’ portrait of Denali with sidewalk chalk? We need flowers, we need animals, we need clouds, the works. We’ll provide the chalk, you provide the stellar drawings.
Our taproom will be CLOSED on Monday, May 26 and on Friday, July 4.
Oh, Anchorage… We’re comin’ in hot with a fresh drop of kegs and cans for ya on Monday, June 2! Let us rejoice and raise our glasses!
