Free Trivia with the Alaska Center
Join Joshua Rose from The Alaska Center for a night of FREE trivia night with prizes, and all around good times! Categories will cover the environment, animals, democracy, and a random category celebrating the good parts of the internet. Limit six people per team and questions start at 6:00. Prizes awarded for first and second place! Come have a great time and flex on your friends! Meg's Eats & Treats will be our food truck for the evening.
New Hard Seltzer Release
The weather may be cooling, but our new hard seltzer is coming in hot! The latest in our cocktail-inspired series, Mixed by BSBC, is an extra fruity twist on a classic. Raspberry Paloma-Inspired Hard Seltzer will be available on tap and in cans to-go from our taproom beginning on Friday, October 23! Light, spritzy and loaded with grapefruit, raspberry and lime, this seltzer is crazy refreshing and clocks in at an easy-drinking 5% ABV.
EARAC Seasonal Safety Talk
Winter is coming, and make sure that you're prepared for your next backcountry adventure with the Eastern Alaska Range Avalanche Center! They'll be joining us to review the upcoming season, discuss backcountry safety and answer your questions. This talk is free and open to the public.
Trivia Night
Flex the ol' thinking muscles and get ready for Jack & Donald to do their worst! Trivia Night returns on Wednesday, November 4! $5 per person to play, and all paid players are entered into the night's door prize drawing. Max 4 people per team, and questioning begins at 6PM. Meg's Eats & Treats will be our food truck for the night, and prizes will be awarded for first, second and second to last place. See you there!

Come visit our cozy Fairbanks taproom, conveniently located just off the Parks Highway/Mitchell Expressway at Peger Road. Our taproom offers handcrafted beverages for here and to-go and frequently hosts food vendors and pop-ups.

We’ve put together some answers to common questions in the hope we can save you some time, but please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a different question.
Contact UsSure! For additional information and to make a reservation, please email stephanie@blacksprucebeer.com. We're happy to reserve our rental room or, if you're feeling wild, the whole taproom for you, but otherwise, tables are first come-first served.
Our taproom is open Monday through Thursday 3PM to 8PM, Friday 3PM to 9PM and Saturday 12PM to 8PM, and we're closed on Sundays. We're also closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Per Alaska state law, all customers need to be off of our licensed premises by 9:30PM.
We are located in South Fairbanks at 3290 Peger Rd STE B. Just south of the Mitchell Expressway.
Alaska state law sets the rules for brewery taprooms: we can serve until 9PM, and everyone needs to be out by 9:30PM. The law also limits how much we can serve on-premise to 36 ounces per person per day, and it doesn't allow games like pool tables or darts in brewery taprooms. Yeah, we know.
Yes! Each visitor may take up to 5.167 gallons of beer to-go per day. We offer 1/6 barrel (5.167 gallon) kegs, growler fills and 4-packs to-go. Need more than 5.167 gallons? We recommend that you either bring a friend or come back tomorrow!
Yes! We ship our beer and cider to addresses on Alaska's road system (no PO boxes). Orders need to be at least two 4-packs and no more than four 4-packs, and merchandise can't be added to beer and cider orders. Someone 21 or older has to sign for the delivery. To start an order, click the "Purchase for delivery" button on any brew's page.

We offer a variety of sizes at a multitude of price points for your tasting requirements. Not sure what to try? Ask a server for some direction and a sample. And yes, our flights consists of three 4oz pours. You may legally have three flights to hit your 36oz limit per day.
Yes! Breweries used to be limited to four live events a year, but in January 2026 an Alaska court struck down that limit, so we can now host live music and events. Keep an eye on our News page, Facebook and Instagram for what's coming up.
