When you buy a case of any of our 4-packs, both beers and ciders, you can save 10% on your 4-pack purchase! You can mix and match 4-packs to your heart’s content (no breaking 4-packs into single cans, though) and make a custom case that’s got a little something for everyone!
Need to really seal the “best guest” deal with some barrel-aged cans? We gotchu. When you buy any four barrel-aged single cans, you save $1.50 per can (about 12%)! Why not treat yourself and your favorite friends to some award-winning, barrel-aged treats? ‘Tis the season!

A Bunch of New Awards
We are honored to have won SIX NEW AWARDS at this year’s AK Beer Awards competition! This year’s competition was the biggest yet, and this year’s BSBC award winners included Rum Barrel-Aged Voracious Tendencies Black Barleywine (gold, Barrel-Aged Beer) and Pinnell Pineapple Semi-Sweet Cider (gold, Flavored Cider). Ready, Set… Build!
Our first ever Gingerbread House Building Competition, taking place this Saturday, November 30! Judged by two local pro bakers, teams will have two hours to create the most impressive house in all the land. We’ll have hot mulled cider available and winter movies playing, too!
NOTE: As of now, the competition is sold out, but come cheers on the builders and see what they make!

Next week is another First Friday already! We couldn’t be happier to welcome returning artist Heidi Morel of Morel Pottery back to our taproom as our featured artist for the month of December! Heidi’s ceramics are wildly popular, staples of many Fairbanks homes and sure to sell out quickly! Join us for Heidi’s First Friday show on Friday, December 6, and stop back throughout the month to check out her restocks!
Who says creativity can’t be a little competitive? Sign up now for our upcoming Gingerbread House Building Competition, taking place on Saturday, November 30! Judged by two local pros, House of the Rising Bun’s Wendy Boger and Marlo’s Bakery’s Cathy Skrivanek, we’ve got space for ten teams of two to create in two hours the most impressive house in all the land. The competition is open to all ages (kids must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian), and we’ll have some festive winter movies playing, too!
Our next monthly Coloring Night will be on Wednesday, December 11! Featuring winter and holiday designs for both kids and adults (dibs on the “She’s a Beaut, Clark” page!), this family-friendly activity is even better accompanied by a pint of your Black Spruce favorite or a glass of our house lemon soda for the littles.
Missed Riva Sazama’s November art feature in our taproom? Fret not! Join us for a pop-up with Riva Sazama in our taproom on Thursday, December 12 from 4PM to 7PM! Shop Riva’s collection of handcrafted copperworks, including wearable pieces, like earrings and cuffs, ornaments and more!
Fairbanks Sensory Friendly Social Club will host its next monthly Caregiver Connection on Saturday, December 14 from 2PM to 4PM. Everyone is welcome to this opportunity to connect with parents and caregivers of special needs or neurodiverse individuals. Caregiver Connections are held on the second Saturday of each month from 2PM to 4PM in our side room.
Bankstown Bike & Ski will be joining us on Saturday, December 14 at 5PM for a Build-Your-Own Ski Poles Pop-Up with Booyah Bamboo! Pick your own colors, have materials cut to your size and start ski season off with some extra dope new ski equipment! Stay tuned for additional details!
We had a blast with last week’s book swap, and we’re stoked to do it again! Come by on Wednesday, December 18 for our next FREE Book Swap: “How To” Edition. The focus of this month’s book swap will be tomes of instruction, including cookbooks, craft books, gardening, home improvement, etc. We’ll also have a variety of children’s books available (we’ll always have children’s books). Where did the time go?! Black Spruce Brewing Company will turn SIX YEARS OLD this winter solstice, and we’re celebrating with a big fat party! Saturday, December 21, join us to celebrate Our Sixth Anniversary a trio of beer releases: Treble Dome Triple IPA, and two barrel-aged variants of our multi-award-winning Reginald Van Horn Barleywine. Starting at 6PM, we’ll also have live music by Casey Smith Project and The Forest That Never Sleeps! Thank you for six amazing years, Fairbanks!
