If you love barrel-aged beers and barleywines, then you’re gonna love next week’s new releases.

We hope that you’ll join us next Thursday, December 21 for our fifth anniversary! To celebrate, we’ll be tapping four new releases, including two new variations of our award-winning Reginald Van Horney Barrel-Aged Barleywine! Unlike our prior barleywine releases, both of this year’s releases will be blends of different barrels. One variation will include barleywine aged for twelve months in Willett Bourbon barrels, while the other will include barleywine aged for twelve months in Heaven Hill Rye Whiskey barrels. Both variations will be blended with barleywine aged for seven months in Knob Creek Bourbon barrels and will be available both on tap and in single 16oz cans to-go.
Along with these two barrel-aged numbers, we’ll also be tapping two other new releases. Goin’ Against Your Mind Hazy DIPA with Passion Fruit will be juicy, fruity and bursting with sunny energy. You can enjoy this tasty little number both on tap and to-go in 4-packs. Our next mead will feature blackberry blossom honey and will be available by the glass at our taproom (no to-go).

We Got Kegs
It’s that time of year again: holiday parties, bonfires, friends coming back into town. When you’ve got a big group of local beer lovers getting together, make it easy on yourself and get a keg! We have 5-gallon kegs of Aroma Dome IPA and Short Days Golden Ale available from our taproom, along with rental taps. Call our taproom to reserve yours, and cheers!
…to a beer lover just about anywhere! All of our super dope Black Spruce merchandise is available through our online store, and we ship all over the US! If you’re local and in a rush, we also offer pick-up at our taproom for orders placed online. Handy, huh?
Riva Sazama will be at our taproom for a pop-up on Thursday, December 14 from 4PM to 7PM. Riva’s splendidly unique copper creations make incredible gifts and gorgeous additions to any home or jewelry collection! Swing by to shop, enjoy a made-to-order gyro from Meg’s Eats & Treats and a pint of your Black Spruce fave!
At our 5 year anniversary bash on Thursday, December 21, Jenny March will be at our taproom for a pop-up! Jenny’s artwork incorporates local birch bark and makes a great, Alaska-inspired addition to any collection.
We’ve got food indoors! You can catch The Knotty Pretzel inside at our taproom on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and Megs Eats ‘n Treats indoors on Wednesdays and Thursdays! Stay tuned for updates on additional vendors and dates!
Brewery Brunch is held at our taproom everySaturday from noon until 3PM. Special brunch beer cocktails, like our spicy red beer, will be offered. We’ll also have fresh pastries from local bakeries like Marlo’s and Little Owl Cafe.
We just dropped off another delivery of beer and cider to our Anchorage and Mat-Su accounts at the start of this week! Our next round of Anchorage and Mat-Su deliveries will likely be at the beginning of February (exact date TBA).
Our taproom will be CLOSED on Monday, December 25 and Monday, January 1.
