Our monthly, free Book Swap returns TODAY! This month’s theme is “Sweet, Sweet Fantasy, Baby”! We’re ready for all things magic, dragons, multifront battles with high stakes and, for good measure, a tasteful bit of faerie smut. Bring a book (or a whole series!) that you’re ready to part with, and grab a few new reads to restock your shelves! We’ll also have a table set up with books for kids and young readers.
This event is free to participate in and is made possible by our friends at Forget-Me-Not Books! Mark your calendars for next month’s free swap, coming to our taproom on Wednesday, March 19! Next month’s theme is “Tell Me Your Life Story,” and we’ll feature memoirs and biographies.
Surprise Mead Drop
As if free books weren’t enough, we’re also releasing our next batch of mead today! Available by the glass and at our taproom only, this release is something really special: Alaska blueberry-infused mango honey mead. The color is remarkable and vivid, and the blueberries lend a dry, gentle tartness. The mango honey elicits flavors and aromas of fresh flowers and tropical fruits. This batch won’t last long, so hurry over to try it today!
Art in the Arctic
ICYMI we’re hosting this year’s Art in the Arctic show at our taproom! This show is made possible by the US Fish & Wildlife Service and Friends of the Alaska National Wildlife Refuges. This year’s show is titled “Resilience in the Refuge” and features fish-centric works by six Alaska-based artists. This special show will be on display through the end of next week, and we’ll welcome our next artist, Zoe Marshall, on Friday, March 7!

Our next First Friday will be a real banger! We look forward to welcoming returning artist Zoe Marshall back to our taproom on Friday, March 7! Zoe lives and works in the Goldstream Valley, and her work reflects the land, featuring leaning spruce trees, sweeping views of the domes and stunning sunsets. We can’t wait to welcome Zoe back, and we hope you’ll join us!
The Fairbanks Sensory-Friendly Social Club will host its next Caregiver Connection with us on Saturday, March 8 from 2PM to 4PM. All are welcome to this relaxing and fun get-together!
Let your creative juices flow at our monthly Coloring Night! The next one will take place on Wednesday, March 12. As always, we’ll have coloring pages for both kids and grown-ups available, as well as all of the crayons your heart could ever desire.
Put our next monthly Book Swap on your calendar because it’s comin’ atcha on Wednesday, March 19! Our March book swap’s theme is “Tell Me Your Life Story.” Memoirs and biographies will be the focus of this swap, and tales of all sorts of folks are welcome. Bring a book you’re ready to let someone else enjoy, and prepare to find your next great read. As always, we’ll also have a table with books just for kiddos.
