Festbier First Friday
A real sign of the times that’s gone as fast as those pretty yellow leaves out there: Alasktober Festbier is hitting our taps this Friday, September 6! Our take on a German festbier, this hella drinkable lager is a gorgeous honey color, a stellar showcase of German Hallertau Mittelfruh hops and the embodiment of autumnal joy and celebration. Lagered for several weeks before being packaged and tapped, this is always one of our fastest selling brews, so get it before it’s gone! This beer will be available on tap at our taproom, as well as in 4-packs through our taproom and online store. Prost!
New Art on Friday
As if a new beer release weren’t enough, this Friday is also First Friday! We are so excited to welcome Andrew Brooks to our taproom as our featured artist for September! We featured Andrew’s artwork earlier this year on the label of our collaboration beer with Lat 65 Brewing Company, and now, we’re stoked to have his work up on our taproom walls! Andrew’s work will be on display and available for sale throughout the month of September. We hope you’ll join us!
Volunteers Wanted
We had a blast last fall at Boots & Brews Beer Fest, and we’re looking forward to another good time this year! This super fun festival will take place at Birch Hill’s assembly room in Fairbanks on Friday, October 11 from 6PM to 9PM, and volunteers are wanted! You can sign up to help HERE. Oh, Juneau… Black Spruce will be making a rare appearance in Juneau next month for Capital Brewfest! Taking place on September 28, this event benefits the Juneau Rotary Club and the Brewers Guild of Alaska, and you can buy your tickets HERE!
