Hazy? West Coast? Fruity? Whatever your style, we’ve gotcha covered.
By now, you know what we’re about: IPAs, baby! We have a ton of fun playing around with lagers, barrel-aged beers and other styles, but we (and you) keep on coming back to our rotating selection of India pale ales.
IPAs are terrific vessels for showcasing and experimenting with different varieties of hops and presenting them in different ways. Like your IPAs more bitter? West coast is the style for you. Prefer yours full-bodied and juicy? Give a hazy a try! Want those fruity hops aromas accentuated by some actual fruit? We’ve gotcha covered.
Right now, we’ve got FOUR DIFFERENT IPAs available on tap and to-go!
- Aroma Dome IPA (6.3% ABV) - Juicy, Orange Slices, Super Suckable
- Sluice Box Hazy DIPA (8.0% ABV) - Passion Fruit, Cotton Candy, Overripe Stone Fruit
- Bronze Knuckles West Coast DIPA (8.0% ABV) - Melon, Citrus, Pine
- Goin’ Against Your Mind Hazy DIPA with Passion Fruit (8.0% ABV) - Strawberry, White Wine, Tropical Fruit

Swing by our taproom next Thursday, March 14 from 4PM to 7PM to try your hand (the hand that’s not holding a beer) at some art! It’s that time of year again: we’re headed down to Palmer Alehouse for a tap takeover! You can catch us at Palmer Alehouse on Tuesday, March 19 for an evening of good times and great brews. Head brewer Carey Fristoe will be on-hand to answer all of your burning Black Spruce questions, and you can enjoy a flight of our flagship brews and new releases! Brrr! It’s cold out there! Learn about local options for improving housing, including how to better keep housing warm, with Brews, Brains & Building on Wednesday, March 20! The Cold Climate Housing Research Center will be at our taproom for this informative event from 5:30-7:30. Be sure to check out their website for more information on Fairbanks Housing Action Week events and CCHRC’s work in Fairbanks and beyond!
We’ll be hosting Coloring Night on Wednesday, March 27! It’s exactly what it sounds like. Bring the kiddos, some friends or just yourself, and enjoy some relaxing coloring while you sip a fresh beer! Crayons and coloring pages will be provided. We’ll even put your artwork up on the fridge (our big ol’ walk-in cooler) when you’re done to show off your work!
Love local art and jonesin’ to add a new mug to your collection? Local potter Jacie Sturm will be at our taproom for a pop-up on Thursday, April 4! Jacie’s charming mugs and adorable ceramics will be on display and available for sale for one night only!
Join us on Friday, April 5 for First Friday with returning artist Kassandra Mirosh of Weyekin Studio! Kassandra’s stunning, avian-inspired works are masterful pieces made of colorful, folded paper and other mixed media.
Anchorage and Mat-Su accounts, we’re comin’ for ya! Our next round of Anchorage and Mat-Su deliveries will be on April 1 & 2. Prepare yourself for a whole mess of new releases, including a new collab and a fresh lager!
