It's a Bird! It's a Crane!

We could not be more excited to be teaming up with Friends of Creamer’s Field again this year to kick off the 2024 Tanana Valley Sandhill Crane Festival! Join us at our taproom TOMORROW (Thursday, August 22) from 3PM to 8PM to celebrate the return of the cranes to the Interior! You can be sure that we’ll have this year’s batch of Sandhill Sippa Hazy Pale Ale on tap and in cans to-go. Plus, Friends of Creamers Field will have information about this year’s festival, as well as merchandise, raffle tickets and more! We’ll see you at our taproom tomorrow!

Career Day!

Come see us at Fairbanks Children’s Museum’s Career Day this Saturday, August 24 from 11-2 at Pioneer Park! We’ll have activities and information about wort production, malted barley and hops to smell and taste and head brewer Carey will be there to answer all of your fermentation questions!

New (Old) Hours

It’s getting a little chilly out there, so we’re starting the process of preparing for *winter*. With that in mind, our hours are now 3PM-8PM Monday through Thursday, 3PM-9PM on Fridays and 12PM-8PM on Saturdays. Check our website for updates on food trucks, stay tuned for info on fun indoor events and prepare yourselves for new barrel-aged beers!

Upcoming Events

Our next First Friday will be on Friday, September 6 and will feature local artist Andrew Brooks! This isn’t Andrew’s first time having art here: you might recognize his work from the label of our spring collaboration with Lat 65 Brewing! Andrew’s artwork will be on display and available for sale throughout September.

ICYMI our food truck schedule is on our website! Check it out HERE for the skinny on upcoming taproom eats!

Oh, Juneau… Black Spruce will be making a rare appearance in Juneau next month for Capital Brewfest! Taking place on September 28, this event benefits the Juneau Rotary Club and the Brewers Guild of Alaska, and you can buy your tickets HERE!

Wanna help out at a beer festival? The Brewers Guild of Alaska (Black Spruce is a member!) is looking for volunteers for this year’s Boots & Brews Beer Fest, taking place at Fairbanks’s own Birch Hill on Friday, October 11! You can sign up to volunteer HERE (TAPS card preferred but not required). Attending and relaxing more your style? Stay tuned for updates on ticket sales!

Anchorage and Mat-Su accounts, we’re comin’ for ya! Our next round of Anchorage and Mat-Su deliveries will be on September 9. Prepare yourself for a restock of your faves!
