More Music This Saturday
Folk, yeah! The good people of the Honeybucket Stringband will be returning to grace our patio with good-time tunes this Saturday, June 14! This FREE concert will begin at 5:30PM, The Fire will be here serving up burgers and whatnot and the forecast calls for clear skies and some genuine summer weather! How ‘bout that?!
A few concert time reminders:
- Bring your ID. We’ll be checking everyone’s (we mean everyone’s) IDs at the door. We’ve gotta have the physical one. Photos of it on your phone or photocopies won’t do. No ID, no entry.
- 12oz pours only. We’ve still got Alaska’s 36 ounce rule to abide by, so we’ll be serving up 12oz pours only for the evening. After we check your ID, you’ll get a punch card that our team will use to help track beverages. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
- Bring the whole family. Kids with a parent are welcome.

Our Patio Pop-Up series continues this Thursday, June 12 with THEM Processed Goods! From 4PM to 7PM, catch Arleigh here and have them help you through some block printing! They’ll have pre-made designs and upcycled garments and be ready to help you make your own masterpiece. Sweet Prik Thai will be here serving up fresh eats, and join this vendor and eight (8!!!) more next Thursday for our Solstice Pop-Up Extravaganza!
Sun Never Sets 7 Drops Next Friday
It’s not summer solstice at BSBC without one of our biggest beer releases of the year: Sun Never Set Rosé IPA! First brewed to celebrate the solstice wedding of owners Carey and Steph, this beer has since become a crowd favorite and one of our trademark summertime brews. This year’s batch will drop on Friday, June 20 at noon, and you can also catch Bitter Sweet Pastries here that day from 4PM to 7PM! Happy solstice!
Solstice Pop-Up Bonanza Next Thursday
Our biggest pop-up market ever is comin’ your way! Join us next Thursday, June 19 from 4PM to 7PM for our Solstice Pop-Up Extravaganza! There’ll be macarons and tie-dye and sick local art and Thai food and cider and beer and slushies and more! We’ll be set up out on the patio with a whole mess of dope local vendors, and you can find the full vendor list and more details HERE!

Everyone’s rockin’ their tanks this summer, and you can show your love for local with a fresh temporary tat! Come on down for Tattoo Tuesday this summer, and snag a FREE BSBC temporary tattoo when you visit our taproom! We’ve got a few different designs for you. Wear them one at a time, sport them all at once, put ‘em on your arms or your face, whatever you’re feeling. Tattoos begin today!
Upcoming Events
A little block printing with your cider or beer? On Thursday, June 12, THEM Processed Goods will join us for a Patio Pop-Up featuring some on-site block printing! Design your own garment with a selection of handmade stamps, or shop Arleigh’s own designs!
Our good pals, the Honeybucket Stringband, will return to our patio on Saturday, June 14! As per usual, there will be no cover for this show, and a 100% ID check will be in effect (punch cards issued to track beverages). Kids with a parent are welcome, and food truck is TBA!
One can never have too much swag from their favorite local businesses, so prepare to add a few more garments to you collection. We’ll have a big Summer Merch Drop, including a revival of our popular “Woodland Journey” design by Nomadic Stars, next Tuesday, June 17. Plus, it’ll be Tattoo Tuesday, and we’ll have some free temporary tattoos of the “Woodland Journey” design, too!
Our next outdoor Coloring Night is very Alaska-inspired. On Wednesday, June 18, your mission: draw a Big One of the Great One. Think you’ve got it in you to make a big ol’ portrait of Denali with sidewalk chalk? We need flowers, we need animals, we need clouds, the works. We’ll provide the chalk, you provide the stellar drawings.
Hooray for solstice and hooray for local artisans! Join us on Thursday, June 19 for our Solstice Pop-Up Extravaganza! From 4PM to 7PM, we’ll have not one, not two but NINE (9!!!) local vendors slingin’ all manner of dope, handmade items on our patio! Solstice is comin’, and you know what that means: Sun Never Sets Rosé IPA is back! Ready for a good old-fashioned lawn party? Join the Brewers Guild of Alaska at Palmer Alehouse for Lagers on the Lawn, happening on Sunday, June 29 from noon to 5PM! This event will feature live music by Jerry Wessling and Yachtly Crew, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle and, you guessed it, all Alaska-made lagers! There will be cocktails, cider and non-alcoholic beverages, too! You can get your tickets and bid on silent auction items HERE.
