Allegedly, it’s now springtime here in Fairbanks (though this snow is throwing us for a loop). With that in mind, we’d like to introduce you to our newest patio crusher: Sky Juice New Zealand Pale Ale. Just look at how bright and clear that lil’ devil is! Build atop a crisp, biscuity malt base, courtesy of Linc Malt’s Steffi Pilsner Malt, this wildly easy-drinking pale ale showcases two of our favorites from New Zealand, Motueka and Riwaka hops. Refreshment is the name of the game here, with notes of zesty lime and succulent pineapple. At just 4.5% ABV with all that flavor and aroma, what’s not to like? Sky Juice New Zealand Pale Ale is now available on tap and in 4-packs from our taproom, and you can have it delivered to your door through our online beer and cider shop, too!

Note: This beer will be on tap as “8-Ender NZ Pale Ale”  for the 88th International Barnspiel at the Fairbanks Curling Club this weekend only.

First Friday for the Birds

We couldn’t be happier to welcome Kassandra Mirosh (Weyekin Studio) back to our taproom as our featured artist for April and the focus of this week’s First Friday! Kassandra’s beautifully detailed works honor Alaska’s native birds and are made of colorful cut paper. Along with larger, wall-mounted pieces that will be shown all month, from 5PM to 8PM this Friday, Kassandra will be in our taproom with ornaments, cards and other handmade, small pieces!

Upcoming Events

We’re delighted to welcome another of our favorite returning artists for April’s First Friday! On Friday, April 4, Kassandra Mirosh of Weyekin Studio will join us as our featured artist for the month! Kassandra specializes in incredibly intricate and detailed paperworks, often featuring Alaska’s native birds. Kassandra’s work will be on display and available for sale all month long.

Need a little reliable indoor fun, since the weather’s all over the place? Join us next Wednesday, April 9 for our monthly Coloring Night! We’ll have crayons and coloring pages for both kiddos and grown-ups out at all of the tables, and Meg’s Eats & Treats will be inside serving up fresh Mediterranean-inspired bites!

The Fairbanks Sensory-Friendly Social Club will host its next Caregiver Connection with us on Saturday, April 12 from 2PM to 4PM. All are welcome to this relaxing and fun get-together!

Wanna try a bunch of rad beers for a good cause that our friends and us brewed? Swing by Palmer Alehouse on Wednesday, April 23 from 6PM to 8PM for the Brewers Guild of Alaska’s Tap Into Change Tap Takeover, featuring collaboration beers from across Alaska brewed to benefit the guild and its work! You can learn more about this project and the guild HERE, and stay tuned for details on our Tap Into Change release!
