Sandhill Sippa Returns Friday!
Everybody knows that the bird is the word!
Sandhill Sippa Hazy Pale Ale will return this Friday, August 14! We love cranes, so we made a beer to celebrate their return. And not just any beer: a juicy, super sessionable pale ale that’s ideal for these late summer days. The one beer we do in which the hop superpowers of Citra and Mosaic unite, this beer is citrusy to the max and really delivers those hoppy goods without giving you the hop burn. The label features stunning original artwork by local artist Jennifer Moss, and this beer is sure to be gone as quickly as the cranes! Come and get it!
Ready for even more sandhill crane fun? The Friends of Creamer’s Field will be joining us to kick off this year’s Tanana Valley Sandhill Crane Festival next Thursday, August 20 from 4PM to 7PM! They’ll have festival information, fun facts about the refuge’s birds and tickets for sale for this year’s Migration Raffle!

Bob Ross Paint Night on Wednesday
Join us this Wednesday, August 12 at 6PM for our next Bob Ross Paint Night! This month’s episode is “Wetlands (S4 E8),” and Meg’s Eats & Treats will be our food truck. $5 per person to participate, and we’ll be using cleaned up, recycled paint sets this time around. If you haven’t yet seen our fancy new projector set up, come check it out! See you soon!
Speed Dating: Silver Edition
Loving your second act and looking for some flirty fun? Folks ages 50-65 (WSM, MSW) are invited to join us for our next Speed Dating night! Join us for an evening of flirty fun at Black Spruce on Wednesday, August 19! Each participant will get one (1) drink token, light appetizers and, of course, a bunch of cool new folks to chat with! Daters will have five (5) minutes to get to know each of their fellow date, one (1) minute to jot down notes and change stations. We'll take a break for snacks and another beverage about halfway through. Daters will turn in their date results to the organizers at the end of the night, and the next day, daters will receive an email with their matches!
