Let’s All Tap Into Change
Support breweries across Alaska by enjoying our newest brew! Plus, mark your calendars: live music returns on Friday, May 23!
We love brewing beer, we love being in Alaska and we love live music. We wanna brew more beer and host more music at our taproom here in Alaska. Existing state laws pertaining to lil’ brewery taprooms like ours (those operating with brewery retail licenses) come with a lot of limitations, including how many live events we can host per year (four per license per year now, zero prior to last year). We’re doing our best and having a ton of fun with the shows we do host, but between the cumbersome permitting process to do so and the stringent limitations on the number of “live events” we can host annually, Alaska’s made the process of hosting a band on a beautiful summertime Friday night more challenging than it needs to be.
Enter Tap Into Change. Presented by the Brewers Guild of Alaska (BGA), this statewide collaboration aims to raise awareness about the BGA’s work and funds for its legislative advocacy projects. Currently, the BGA is hoping to make the process of hosting live events

Music on the Patio Returns
Summertime’s here, and we’re ready to jam on the patio! Join us for our first concert of the year on Friday, May 23 featuring SunDog, Casey Smith Project and Shady Pines Retirement Home! As if that weren’t enough, the Honeybucket Stringband will be here to show everyone a good time on Saturday, June 14, and Heart Machine and friends will be with us on Saturday, July 26! All shows will be free. Kids with a parent are welcome, and we’ll have a 100% ID check going at the door. Cheers to great tunes and brews!
One Giant Patio Mosaic
Freaking out about what to do with the kids when school ends on May 21? Bring the whole family down to our taproom for a summery twist on our monthly coloring night! The challenge: turn our patio into one giant mosaic. We’ll have a template marked out and all of the fresh chalk you could ever desire. We’ll have a food truck and plenty of non-alcoholic options, too! See you on May 21!

The Fairbanks Sensory-Friendly Social Club will host its next Caregiver Connection with us on Saturday, May 10 from 2PM to 4PM. All are welcome to this relaxing and fun get-together!
Celebrate the end of the school year and the start of summer with us! On Wednesday, May 21, let’s put a fun twist on our monthly Coloring Night and turn our patio into One Giant Patio Mosaic. We’ll provide the sidewalk chalk and a big ol’ mosaic template, and food and beverages, including our house-made fruit soda, will be available for purchase!
We’re excited to get tunes cranking on our patio again! On Saturday, May 23, we’ll welcome SunDog, Casey Smith Project and Shady Pines Retirement Home to our patio for an evening of good times and great tunes! This concert is free to attend, and kids are welcome with a parent. We’ll have a 100% ID check going at the door (no ID, no entry), and we’ll be selling 12oz pours only for the evening (punch cards issued at ID check to track drinks). Music starts at 5:30, and food will be available for purchase!
Our taproom will be CLOSED on Monday, May 26.
Our first Patio Pop-Up of the summer is comin’ your way on Thursday, June 5 and will feature AK Sunprints! Local artist Jessica Horecki applies gorgeous, botanical sun prints to upcycled garments, prints for hanging and more, and you can find her on Instagram at @aksunprints.
