Trivia and Seltzers and May Poles, Oh My!
We’ve got a full week of good times ready for you!
Let’s make it a great week, folks. We’ve got food trucks nightly, a terrific line-up of craft beverages and one of the best patios in town (more on patio updates next week).
This Wednesday, June 10 at 6PM, it’s our next Trivia Night! Hosted by Jack Ewers and Donald Crocker, trivia is sure to have you scratching your head and laughing your buns off in no time. Trivia is $5 per person (all paid participants entered into door prize raffle), maximum of four (4) people per team and prizes awarded for 1st place, 2nd place and 2nd to last place.
June’s trivia categories are:
- The Great (North) American Road Trip
- Pride Month
- Black Spruce Happenings
- Random Hard
If you’ve attended before, you know that Jack and Donald’s trivia is full of surprises and packed with fun! We hope you’ll join us! Our food truck for the evening will be Meg’s Eats & Treats.
New Hard Seltzer on Friday
We’re bringing the beachy vibes back this Friday, June 12 with the next release in our cocktail-inspired hard seltzer series, Mixed by BSBC. This time, we’re taking inspiration from a good ol’ hurricane! Packed with citrus and passion fruit, this tropical treat will be your new favorite in no time. Release weekend only, enjoy yours with classic hurricane garnishes and a cute lil’ umbrella! Spice It Up will be here Friday from 4PM to 8PM.
Midsommar Party This Saturday
A family-friendly event that’s lightly inspired by a wild horror movie? Sure, why not? This Saturday, June 13, join us for our Midsommar Party from 2PM to 5PM! Taking a few notes from its namesake film, this Saturday, we’ll have:
- Flower Crown Making - $7 per Crown, Supplies Provided
- Egg Drop - $10 per Egg, Materials Provided, Drop at 3:30PM (You can smash your egg, if it survives.)
- Roasting Marshmallows - $3 per Bag o’ Marshmallows, Instructions Provided If You Want to Make it Look Like a Bear Face
- May Pole Dance - We’ve got eighteen ribbons and a 10’ pole that needs decorating. Dance begins at 4PM and is open to all ages. Be cool and take turns.
- Crowning of Our May Queen - No tears here, folks. Someone’s gonna be awarded a big ol’ flower hat just because we see them having a good time.
Fun, right? Festivities begin at 2PM! Sweet Prik Thai will be here all day long, and it’s supposed to be really nice outside!
Rosé IPA Returns June 19
One of our most popular releases of the year, Sun Never Sets Rosé IPA will return to our taproom next Friday, June 19! First brewed in celebration of owners Carey and Steph’s solstice wedding, this champagne-inspired brew is dry, pink and effervescent with notes of strawberry and cherry. One of our trademark brews, this year’s batch won’t last long!
