Can you believe that it’s only Wednesday?! Fairbanks has really had a week for the books! If you’re ready to take a break from shoveling, winter preparations and work, swing by our taproom for a breather and a pint. We’ve got a whole mess of recent releases ready for here and to-go, including Purple Cone Contemporary Pilsner, a fresh batch of Sluice Box Hazy DIPA and one of our favorite fruit combinations in WOW! Real Fruit Blueberry Blackberry Apricot Smoothie-Style Sour. Need something a little heftier? Enjoy a pour of Voracious Tendencies Bourbon Barrel-Aged Black Barleywine (rum varietal available to-go only).
Our taproom is open today and tomorrow from 3PM to 8PM, Friday from 3PM to 9PM and Saturday from noon to 8PM. Drive safely out there, check on your neighbors and take it easy, Fairbanks!
A Message from the Brewer
Voracious Tendencies Black Barleywine is our newest barrel-aged offering and oh wow! It is a tasty treat. Taking inspiration from some newer iterations of this style as well as a distant memory of Arizona Wilderness Brewing mashing an Imperial Stout recipe and a Barleywine recipe into one batch we decided to take components of our Award Winning Barleywine and Award Winning Imperial Stout and combine that at a ratio of 70:30 Barleywine:Imperial Stout. The resulting brew has rich dried fruit character, caramel and toasted malt layered with dark chocolate and
espresso powder. We had to barrel-age this luxurious beer in two different barrels: rum and bourbon. Aged for 15 months, these barrels add their own unique character to each beer. Catch these tasty treats while you can as this was a limited run due to the extended aging and loss associated with that.

Our friends from Ski Land will be here for another round of their popular season pass sale this Saturday, October 26 from 4PM to 8PM. With all this fresh pow, there’s no time like the present to get ready for a bangin’ winter season of skiing!
Fairbanks Climate Action Coalition’s Get Out the Vote team will be at our taproom on Thursday, October 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 with information about how to vote in this year’s general election, including where to vote early, how to find your polling place to vote on election day and who is running for local office(s) in your district!
We’re delighted to welcome returning artist Riva Sazama back to our taproom as our featured artist for November at our next First Friday on Friday, November 1! Riva specializes in copperworks, including hangable, wearable and usable pieces.
Join us on Saturday, November 9 for a sing-along to The Nightmare Before Christmas! This family-friendly event will including two showings, one at 6PM and one at 7:30PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring a camping chair and a few snacks, and we’ll have beer, cider and non-alcoholic beverages (including soda) available for purchase.
